Scientists of Dnipro Humanitarian University completed an international internship

From June 1 to June 30, 2025, Rector of Dnipro Humanitarian University, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleh Kyrychenko, and Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor Vadym Nehodchenko, completed an international internship at The University of Commerce and Services (WSHIU) in Poznań (Republic of Poland).

The internship program of Professor Oleh Kyrychenko included advanced training in the following areas:

• national security;
• European standards of higher education;
• adaptation of educational programs to the requirements of the European Union;
• the role of international academic mobility;
• use of digital learning platforms.

The internship program of Professor Vadym Nehodchenko focused on the areas:

• national security;
• tourism and recreation;
• European standards of higher education;
• adaptation of educational programs to the requirements of the European Union;
• the role of international academic mobility;
• use of digital learning platforms;
• support for teachers in working with AI technologies, as well as the challenges of using AI in the context of academic integrity;
• directions for developing soft skills, leadership and digital competencies in applicants along with professional competencies

Oleh Kyrychenko and Vadym Nehodhcenko solemnly received certificates of successful completion of international internship at WSHiU.

During the internship, Mr. Kyrychenko and Mr. Nehodchenko also had the opportunity to hold a number of meetings with the management of the WSHiU. During the conversation with the Acting Rector, Doctor of Economics Paulina Kolisnichenko, were discussed the main areas of international cooperation between the universities, in particular:

1. joint submission of applications as part of a consortium of universities for participation of partner universities in the EU international grant programs Erasmus+, Visegrad Fund programs, Eastern Partnership programs;
2. preparation and implementation of integrated educational programs "Double Diploma";
3. involvement of teachers in the educational process of the partner educational institution;
4. participation of researchers in the work of the editorial boards of scientific journals of our educational institutions;
5. publication of scientific articles in scientific publications of our journals;
6. joint holding of scientific events (conferences, seminars, forums, etc.) and publication of materials on the results of events;
7. preparation of joint collective monographs;
8. internship of teachers.

Upon completion of the international internship, Rector of the University, Oleh Kyriyhenko, visited Matej Bel University (Banska Bystrica, Slovak Republic), where he held a number of working meetings on international cooperation between universities. They also visited the Faculty of Law, where the dean of the faculty, JUDr, PhD, Adrian Vaško, introduced the material and technical base of the faculty and the conditions for training lawyers.
