June 28, 2022, on this festive day - Constitution Day of Ukraine, with the assistance of the Presidential Fund for Education, Science and Sports in partnership with the Union of UK Universities and the Cormack Consultancy Group, with the participation of the British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons and the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko hosted an online conference dedicated to the Unity Initiative between British and Ukrainian Universities. The purpose of the conference was to sign memorandums of cooperation between 25 institutions of higher education in Ukraine and the leading institutions of higher education in Great Britain and Canada. Dnipro Humanitarian University was invited to the event, represented by the rector Oleh Kyrychenko.
At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Dame Janet Beer Vice-Chancellor, University of Liverpool and International Policy Lead, Universities UK Board; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Ukraine Melinda Simmons; Commissioner of Presidential Fund for Education, Science and Sports Olha Budnyk; Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko spoke with welcoming words about cooperation in the educational and scientific fields.
After the greeting words, the solemn signing of memorandums took place. Dnipro Humanitarian University became a member of higher education institutions of Ukraine that became signatories of these memorandums. The University has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with St. Mary's University (London, UK).
The staff of Dnipro Humanitarian University is grateful to Cormack Consulting Group and St. Mary's University for the opportunity to join this Initiative to unite educational institutions of our countries. The university community looks forward to mutually beneficial cooperation and development of partnerships in the field of education and science!
